Calathea Triostar or Stromanthe Triostar are tropical plants with vibrant green, white and pink leaves. These stunning plants provide a focal point with an explosion of colour. Similarly to other Calatheas, they need indirect light or light shade, a lot of humidity and constant soil moisture to thrive.
 
Stromanthe Triostar prefers bright, indirect light, however is hardy enough to tolerate some partial, light shade.
 
Watering
Keep soil barely moist at all times. Allow the top of the soil to dry out slightly before watering. Too much water will cause root rot.
 
Temperature
The Stomanthe sanguinea Triostar enjoys normal household temperatures from 16-24°C, but can tolerate temperatures as low as 13°C.
 
Humidity
High humidity levels are an advantage. To improve humidity, mist frequently or move your plant to a typically steamy room such as the kitchen or bathroom.
 
Feed
Apply a weak dose of a liquid fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season.
