Ficus Belize is a colourful and welcome addition to any living space. Its large tropical, waxy leaves boast a green and cream variegation tickled with pink hues, all whist filtering the air.
 
This large houseplant will be a wonderful focal point in your home 
 
Light
Ficus elastica Belize prefers bright, indirect light but does cope quite well in lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight as this may scorch the plant.
 
Watering
Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause leaf drop.
 
Temperature
This Ficus enjoys temperatures between 16-24°C. Avoid draughts as these can create undesirable temperature fluctuations.
 
Humidity
The Belize has no specific humidity requirements, although the occasional misting wouldn't go amiss. For an added boost, relocate to a steamier room like the kitchen or bathroom.
 
Feed
Apply a weak dose of a fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season.
